Myths Buster Session #1
3 Myths among NEET and JEE Aspirants
There are many myths that a usual aspirant has and mostly realizes them late. If you are reading this blog, You have an upperhand. Here, in the MYTHS BUSTER SESSION #1, I will discuss 3 of them. Sounds interesting? Hop right into it.
Corona situation has changed what we used to call "Normal" in the past. Stuck in the Quarantine, We (students) face a serious challenge. The challenge is the decision to whether utilize this Gold-Mine of Time on studying or waste it in watching couple of Netflix shows.
Myths Or Misconceptions is the state of unawareness among (us) students about some key aspects that we realize later and regret.
I am writing this after experiencing it on myself.

MYTHS BUSTING MODE - ON!
(1) Not Prioritizing
In many of my earlier blogs, I have mentioned that prioritizing Studies over other time pass stuff is the main characteristic of a topper. Almost 90% of the students who don't crack NEET or JEE in the first attempt, say that,"Had I been more serious earlier I would have got awesome marks. This is something I realised after 6 months had already passed. I was watching every Netflix episode coming up and didnt study at all. But "Jab Jaago Tab Savera" is something I strictly preach. In in case you don't know what that means, It means - "It is never too late for anything."
For a JEE aspirant this is very important because a good college ensures a good placement. But if you don't get a good college, then you would need to work hard on that for 4 years.
(2)NCERT is enough
This one depends on you. Do you want the best colleges in India or ate you aiming for selection. If its just selection, then NCERT are enough. But you'll be able to score around 600 with that (with maximum efforts).
But if you are aiming for India's best colleges, You have to aim for the tough 15% of the paper also.
Physics - HC VERMA
Chemistry - MTG NCERT At your Fingertips
Biology - Modules of Coaching Class
Please note :- NCERT is the main book. Almost 85% questions come from NCERT. So, I'm asking you to prepare for the tough 15% after you have finished with the NCERT firstly.
(3) 8-9 hours of sleep
This is the most tough years of your lives probably. This is no picnic going on. If I see what will the Future Dhruv tell me if I slack off in studies?
Steal this trick from me (because it works wonders for me).
8 hours of sleep means 1/3rd of your day gone. Scientifically speaking, Our body needs 6 hours of sleep. If we sleep more than 7 hours, it will make us more sleepy during the day.
6 hours of sleep at night + 1 hour PowerNap in the hot after noon.
- Bonus tip - The sooner you realize how Short of Time you are, the sooner you'll not take studies for granted.
That's it for this one, peeps.
