How did Akshat Kaushik study?

Akshat Kaushik, AIR 3 in NEET and AIIMS. AIR 1 in KVPY etc, has a lot of tips for Medical aspirants like us. Sounds interesting? Hop right into it.

Hello guys, Dhruv this side,

Daily motivation "An idiot with a plan will                                   win over a genius                                                 without it"

How does a topper study?

I'm currently a class 12th student preparing for NEET and the board exams too ofc. I am not too great in studies. I got 95.6% in Class 10th and got few Olympiad medals...

This Corona situation has changed what "Normal" was few months back. Stuck in quarantine, We students hace faced a serious challenge. Challenge that are we ready to utilize this Gold-mine of time or Wasting it for watching couple of Netflix shows.

I'm gonna take my favorite topper, Akshat Kaushik who achieved AIR 3 in both NEET and AIIMS. You'll ask, "dude, why is he your favourite?!" Because I can relate to him because he went to gym and was socially active throughout the 2-year preparation...And He's not a "Cringy topper"...Lol...

Akshat Kaushik, NEET topper

(1) Focus on The "Input-Output Ratio"

The number of hours studying is considered by him as a Bad question. Rather he suggest us to ask ourselves qualitatively that how much I actually learnt from the studies I did today. Execute what you planned for the day.

(2) Give as many Mock Tests you can-

Akshat Kaushik finds giving question paper as his No.1 pointer of success. He himself gave 100+ paper within 2 years preparation.Solving many questions will:-
  • Improve time management in test situations
  • Exposing yourself to all the variety of the questions
  • Improving on the mistakes of the previous mock tests

(3)Consistency beats talent-

Akshat kaushik finds himself to be the sincere hard worker rather than a born talented genius.
He is always humbled, ready to help and sincere with academics...

(4)Sticking to a  few books-

Rather than buying ton of books, its much better to pick 2 fine books and sticking to it. Keep  revising the limited books till you remember each and every word carefully. Sticking to NCERT and coaching modules is what he did.

Physics- HC VERMA
Chemistry- coaching material
Biology- NCERT strictly
Maths- few books have to be bought

(5)Make study fun-

Akshat and Bhavik Bansal(AIR 2 - NEET and AIR 1 - AIIMS) met and became friends during their OCSC Camp. They were roommates. They played a game between themselves by asking tricky questions from each other from BIO NCERT.

That's it for this one, guys.
