How to Become A Topper?

What does a Topper do differently than a usual student? What mistakes does a topper not make? Sounds Interesting? So, Let's Hop right into it.

This Corona situation has changed what "Normal" was few months back. Stuck in quarantine, We (students) have faced a serious challenge. Challenge that are we ready to utilize this Gold-mine of time or Wasting it for watching couple of Netflix shows.

Simple Answer - Do exactly what a Topper does. 
What is that?

STUDY.
There is no other way around.

Studying = Marks.

Thats it.

So the real question should be :-

How does a Topper study?

After researching and viewing several interview of toppers, I have condensed the best tips to TOP 4 points.


(1) See the Greater Good
This is what a topper believes in. And this is also the Number 1 mistake an Average student makes.
An average student fails to see that few hours of PS4 now, can cost you a lot luxuries in the future.
A topper is not studying, He/She is investing in a better, luxurious future. They understand that Time is everything and wasting it is not an option.


(2)No need of "Einsteinic" Brain
You think you are stupid.
You think your Class Topper is a prodigy. No, he/she is not. Prodigy is found one in a million. Many of the toppers openly claim that they were not born genius, but it was their Your Class Topper is like you in many aspects but different in some. That is the Willpower and Revision. Stop underestimating yourself.


(3)Revision 
Let's take Boards exam for example.
Majority of the students would have completed the syllabus at least 1-2 times. In this case person who does the maximum number of revisions of the entire syllabus ends up Topping the exam.
Take few books and Study them again and again at least 3-4 times.


(4)Prioritizing
A topper realizes the importance of studying. And if you observe, They get anxious if they don't study for a day. They know that if they watch a movie for 3 hours, they'll have to study beforehand to balance it out.
This sense is missing in average student. They'll be like - "Koi na, Kya
Fark padta hai."

  • Bonus Tip - Change your mindset. You are an Average student because you wish to call yourself that. If you consider yourself to be intellectual, in due time, you'll become that.
